A Top-Quality Preschool
Dedicated To Supporting Working Parents
Family-Owned By A Mom Who Truly Cares
In November 2015, Mary Edgerly, a single mother determined to create both stability and purpose for her family, opened Sunshine & Broccoli. What began as an act of courage and an opportunity to provide for her own children has grown into a thriving early learning community deeply rooted in faith, love, and service, and we welcome you and your family with open arms.
Our Foundational Belief
"God made me. God loves me. God has a plan for me." These principles guide every aspect of our work as we strive to provide high-quality early childhood education in a nurturing, faith-centered environment that helps children grow socially, emotionally, academically, and spiritually.
Our Mission
To serve families in the community of Antioch & Nolensville, offering a safe and enriching space where children are loved, parents are supported, and faith is woven into everyday learning.
Our Core Values
School Family: We strive to engage the entire family in our program, creating a culture of belonging and community. Development: Supporting the progression of children and educators is at the heart of every decision we make.

Our Curriculum Lays The Foundation For Lifelong Learning And Success
Grounded in research, the Experience Curriculum immerses your child in activities based on proven early childhood research to promote cognitive, physical, and social-emotional development. Fully aligned with state and national standards, our learning program prepares your child for success.
Communication & Engagement For The Whole Family
Parent communication and engagement are key to the successful development of a child. We keep you updated on your child’s progress via the Brightwheel app, host regular parent reading days, and invite parents to participate in bike rides and other themed events that bring our community together.
A Loving Team Dedicated To Giving Back
Deeply rooted in this community, we look for ways to make a difference to our families. As part of “Be the Sunshine” — our give-back initiative — staff members receive up to 3 hours of PTO for volunteer time in the community, ensuring we make an impact beyond the school gates.
